Argentina–Russia relations are foreign relations between Argentina and Russia. Diplomatic relations between both countries were established on October 22, 1885. Unofficial relations in the 1920ies were influenced heavily by inner-Argentine affairs in the 1920ies.〔(David X. Argentina has an embassy in Moscow and Russia has an embassy in Buenos Aires. Celebrating 125 years of bilateral relations, in April 2010, Dmitry Medvedev paid a first visit of a Russian head of state to Argentina.〔(Medvedev stakes new ground )〕 In July 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Argentina, and signed a nuclear energy cooperation agreement with his Argentine counterpart Cristina Fernandez.
